 NewsWelcome to Shrimad Rajchandra Institute of Management and Computer Application (SRIMCA)We are currently offering post graduate professional programs in Computer Science (i.e. MCA) and Business Management (i.e. MBA) approved by AICTE. SRIMCA is a constitute college of Uka Trasadia University approved by Gujarat Government under Gujarat Private University (Amendement) Act No. 25 of 2011 and University Grant Commission (UGC) vide letter reference number F.No. 8-39/2011(CPP-1)/PU) dated 22nd March 2012 to awrad degrees. NBA accreditated MCA programme at SRIMCA, Gopal Vidyanagar National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is constituted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), as an Autonomous Body to periodically conduct evaluation of technical Institutions or Programmes to verify and upgrade the quality of education. For this assessment, peer groups of NBA experts visit the institution and make relevant recommendations to the NBA. On date 26th September 2011, the NBA team came at SRIMCA. The team consituted of Prof. B N Garudachar (Chairman) and the programme experts Dr. Ravidra C Thool and Dr. K M Mehata. During the three days visit, the team carried out physical verification of infrastructure facilities, records, interviews faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry and all other activity deemed necessary. NBA team gave accreditation to MCA programme for three years starting from 15/3/2012. This is the first programme on Maliba campus accrediated by NBA. It is also a matter of pride that MCA programme at SRIMCA is first of its kind to get accreditated in South Gujarat region. Began with MCA course in 2002, introduced MBA in 2004 providing excellent learning environment. The institute with best infrastructure with ergonomically designed auditorium, seminar hall and classrooms equipped with computer and modern teaching aids. State of the art computing facility with 6 servers, more than 150 computers and printers networked with Wi-Fi Technology, is being rigorously used by the students and faculty alike. SOURCE OF INSPIRATION Shri Bhulabhai Vanmalibhai Patel is the source of Inspiration for the institute. He is the committed disciple of Shrimad Rajchandra. It has always been his desire to inculcate and imbibe the crux of the preaching of Shrimad, in the hearts and minds of the youth of this country.

Drucker (American Management Guru) once wrote, "Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things." Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson said, "Leadership has a harder job to do than to just choose sides. It must bring sides together." A manager who is a leader too, is the need of the hour. I read a long time ago that "Sophistication in management stems from the mastery of essentials." Attaining mastery of essentials makes one think like a wise man but communicate in the language of a common man. Dale Carnegie rightly said, "Learning is an active process. We learn by doing. Only knowledge that is used sticks in the mind." Aristotle pointed out that, "Quality is not an act, it is a habit." Our goal should be quality first and quality last. My own philosophy in life is based on what W. Somerset Maugham once said, "It is a funny thing about life: if you refuse to accept anything but the best you very often get it."
