 SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA SWADHYAY KendraThe human values in our day to day life are more conspicuous by their absence. Unless they become part of our life and way of living, the situation will continue to worsen at the peril of humankind. This requires our urgent attention. The only way to correct the situation is to incorporate the human values in our education system. In fact, higher education needs more attention on this count as there is no iota of or reference to these values in the present system. Spirituality provides the human beings with the moral base and ethical values which are so sacrosanct for the survival of the world and if we have to survive few more millenniums. India has a strong spiritual base enriched by its culture, traditions, teachings of the great saints of the past and the Holy Scriptures. In fact the world looks at India for the spiritual guidance and for establishing the Culture of Peace. As some great thinkers have already said, if 20th Century belongs to science and technology, then 21st Century will be of spirituality. The institute has been inspired by Shri Bhulabhai Vanmalibhai Patel, a committed disciple of Shrimad Rajchandra. It has always been his desire to inculcate and imbibe the crux of the preaching of Shrimad, in the hearts and minds of the youth of this country. Various spiritual discourses are regularly organized to blend spirituality with academics which enable the students to live fuller and happy life without comprising on values. The Swadhyay Kendra tries to incorporate spirituality in the education. Its objective is to imbibe the right Samskars and discipline minds in a balanced way.
